My name is Abby Schwantz, born and raised Midwestener with a weakness for traveling, Mexican food and an afternoon of binge watching. I've traveled around the world but am currently living in Fort Wayne, IN, USA. I'm a loud enneagram 8 who wants to make the world a better place, starting by being your ultimate hype woman and constantly working to make you feel seen and special.
I've been behind cameras on and off for the last 10 years. I've always loved taking pictures, but in the past few years, I've gotten to see how directly photos can impact people. As we grow up, we realize how priceless photos are, how quality pictures become prized possessions. It's a moment in time you can forever look back on. It's easy to take pictures, but it's hard to capture moments. That's where I come in.
My style is rich in color, honest,
and bold. I'm looking for the real human moments in all their goofy, emotional glory.
grab a seat, let's get cozy.
I love to travel. My need to see how other people live, eat and love sits deep in my bones. My feet ache to be on new soil. I've been to 15 countries on 3 continents, with plans to visit countless more. My bucket list is always growing, but I try and scratch something off every couple of months. So far, I have floated in the Dead Sea, had a Guinness in Dublin, and made pasta from scratch in the Italian countryside with my friend's grandmother who spoke no English.
I hunger for new places and am always willing to meet you in a land far, far away. If you want to talk about setting up a shoot involving travel or just swap travel nightmare stories, I'd absolutely love to hear from you!
WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO
Even though we live in a world where we all post photos all the time, celebrating ourselves is still frowned on. I've never understood that. Whether you're getting portraits done, wedding photos or boudoir, you deserve to celebrate you. I love being able to remind people of that. I love making my wedding couples feel special. I love helping my boudoir clients feel empowered. I'll love making magic with you, because everyone has some magic in them that deserves to be celebrated.
You only live once. Corny, but true.
Document the hell out of your life if it makes you happy.
Take a million photos, or better yet, hire me to do it.
